Unauthorized Motor Vehicles in Willow Point Municipal Utility District

Apr 9, 2024

Willow Point Municipal Utility District of Fort Bend and Waller Counties (the “District”) values the safety of all District residents and visitors. As such, the District has long maintained certain rules and regulations pertaining to the use of unauthorized motor vehicles on District property, including drainage and detention facilities. Unauthorized motor vehicles include, but are not limited to, cars, trucks, dirt bikes, four wheelers, golf carts, and other similar vehicles.

There has been an uptick in unauthorized motor vehicles operating on the District’s drainage and detention facilities. Unauthorized activity in these spaces, as stated above, is prohibited. In addition to the obvious dangers of unauthorized vehicle traffic in these areas, the damage to District property caused by motor vehicles can necessitate expensive repairs and potentially create an environmental risk.

Residents who witness an unauthorized motorized vehicle on District property are encouraged to contact immediately the Fort Bend Co. Precinct 3 Constables Office on their non-emergency line, 281-342-3411, or the Precinct’s direct line, 281-238-1430. Additionally, please inform the District about any violations by utilizing the contact form on the District website. Violators will be reported to local law enforcement, and violations could result in fines and jail time.

Thank you for your help keeping the District safe.
