UPDATE REGARDING CITY OF HOUSTON BOIL WATER NOTICE
Last night, Sunday, November 27, 2022, the City of Houston (the “City”) issued a boil water notification (the “Boil Water Notice”) for the City’s Main Water System after water pressure dropped below the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s required minimum 20 PSI during a power outage at the City’s East Water Purification Plant.
Willow Point Municipal Utility District of Fort Bend and Waller Counties (the “District”) does not receive water from the City of Houston. The District receives its water from a water plant owned and operated by the District and independent of the City’s Main Water System. Water provided by the District to its customers is safe to drink and is not affected by the City’s Boil Water Notice.
Should you have questions, please contact Si Environmental, the District Operator, at 832-490-1600.
