Trail Lighting Update

UPDATE:
Residents of Willow Point Municipal Utility District may have noticed… We have trail lighting!

The new solar panels were official fully installed, initialized, and are up and operating. This has made the pathways around our District visible in the early morning hours and evenings. We are very happy with the outcome and hope to see many of our residents utilizing and navigating the trails.

As keen-eyed residents may have noticed, Willow Point Municipal Utility District (WPMUD) is receiving new trail lighting within the District boundaries during the coming weeks. The existing solar-based lighting, which has not worked as intended since the initial installation, is being updated and rectified by KGA / DeForest Design, LLC.

Starting earlier yesterday afternoon, the existing solar panels were completely removed from the trails. This removal has resulted in the trails being dark and unlit at night. The pathways will remain without lighting until the new solar panels are installed and initialized as a group.

The lighting will be fully online once the retrofit has been fully installed.
